Jason Kneebone
Jason has been teaching music in Silicon Valley since 2005. As a Bay Area native, he has developed a passion for fusing technology with the arts. Jason earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Bass Trombone Performance from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. While in SLO, he met the woman of his dreams slinging a sousaphone on the Marching Band rehearsal field. After graduating he moved back to Los Altos to live with his folks while finishing his Music Ed coursework and Teaching Credential from San José State University.
Jason served as the Director of Instrumental Music at Mountain View High School from 2007 to 2020 and is now a Full-Time Dad to a 6th-Grader, a Kindergartener, and a Preschooler. He moonlights as a media and design consultant, is the current Bass Trombone player with A Touch of Brass Big Band out of San José, and entering his third season as Assistant Conductor for the Peninsula Youth Orchestra.
Jason resides in San Carlos, California with his wife, Lyndsey, their two boys, Logan and Ryan, daughter Shelby, and their spoiled pooch, Archie.
